GACE庐 Assessments
GACE庐 (Teacher Certification)
The Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators (GACE) is Georgia's state-approved educator certification assessment program. The purpose of the GACE assessments is to help the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) ensure that prospective educators have the knowledge and skills needed to perform the job of an educator in Georgia's public schools.
Content (Teaching Fields and Most Service Fields)
The content assessments test content knowledge and skills in specific certification fields. They are required for most certification fields in the state of Georgia. The assessments can consist of either one standalone exam or multiple testlets within an assessment, contain selectedresponse questions and, in some cases, one or more constructedresponse (written, spoken, or signed) assignments.
The GACE Content and Service Field assessments feature a modular structure consisting of multiple testlets. Each testlet represents a key content area of the assessment. This testlet-based model is designed to give you more flexibility in how you take and pass the assessment.
